The 1350 series is the workhorse intermediate-capacity weld yoke specification in light and medium-duty truck drivetrains -- stronger than the 1310 and 1330 series but lighter than the 1410 or 1480. The 1350 U-joint uses a 1.188" cap diameter, the same OD as the 1410, so series identification must be based on journal length and bearing cup depth rather than cap OD alone when servicing used assemblies.

The 3-28-57 fits a 3.000"x0.083" tube with the standard 2.844" butt diameter (3.000" - 2x0.083" = 2.834" bore; 2.844" butt = 0.010" interference) and 2.000" CL-to-weld. This combination is commonly found on F-series rear shafts, Dodge/Ram trucks, and 4WD front shafts across multiple production decades.
