Mitsubishi driveshaft U-joints frequently use a 25MM (0.985") cap diameter that is not interchangeable with any standard Spicer domestic series. The GUM76 is dimensioned for outside snap ring (OSR) installation -- the snap ring seats in an external groove on the cap and is accessible from outside the yoke ear without disassembling the shaft from the vehicle. The greaseable zerk fitting on GUM76 is a service advantage over the sealed Mitsubishi OEM joints used on some models.
Verify the 3.062" (77.8MM) width matches the distance between the inside faces of your yoke ears before ordering. Mitsubishi driveshafts span multiple platforms (Montero, Pajero, Eclipse 4WD, Galant VR-4, and various truck models) and the U-joint geometry is not always uniform across model years. When in doubt, measure the caps on the worn joint before ordering the replacement.
