Dust cap kits like the D3K are easy to skip at service time, but a missing or cracked cap on a splined slip yoke is an open invitation for moisture, road salt, and grit to work into the splines. This kit is built for 1410 series splined assemblies — 1.779-R inside diameter, 16 splines, press-on installation.
