Building or rebuilding a 1480 series driveshaft means getting the weld yoke right first. The 4826-50A weld yoke is machined for one tube diameter and one series — those two specs are non-negotiable. Get the butt diameter wrong and the weld joint is already compromised before you strike the arc.
4826-50A Weld Yoke — Tube Fit & Aluminum Specs
