Q: Is the 3180-46 interchangeable with the 3180-47 which also has a 3.500" height?
A: The 3180-47 uses a 1.574" (40 mm) bore while the 3180-46 uses a 1.378" (35 mm) bore. Both have 3.500" center-to-base height, but they are not interchangeable -- the bore difference means they fit different stub shaft diameters. Always verify the stub shaft OD before selecting.
Q: Why does my truck need a 3.500" tall center support bearing instead of the standard 2.250"?
