3004-231U -- 1300 Series End Yoke

An end yoke terminates the driveshaft at the transmission or transfer case output shaft, converting spline motion to u-joint rotation. The 3004-231U is a 1300 series end yoke designed for a 0.990"-inch spline diameter with 22/23 splines and a 1.420"-inch hub diameter. The end yoke is not a glamorous part, but it is load-critical. Every pound-foot of engine torque passes through it on its way to the wheels. A worn, cracked, or dimensionally incorrect end yoke introduces vibration, unbalances the shaft, and accelerates wear on adjacent components including the u-joint cross, differential seal, and output shaft bearing. The 3004-231U replaces like-for-like with current production tolerances.
