When a Ford truck two-piece driveshaft starts generating a mid-shaft vibration that varies with road speed rather than engine RPM, the center support bearing is almost always the cause. The 211590-1X is the Spicer replacement bearing assembly for this application -- a rubber-isolated bearing carrier that bolts to the frame crossmember and carries the midship stub shaft at the junction of the front and rear driveshaft sections.

Two dimensions control fitment. First: the bearing inner bore is 1.181 inches. The midship stub shaft OD must match this exactly -- a shaft that is undersized will spin within the bearing rather than turning the bearing outer race, causing rapid wear. Second: the frame bracket mount holes are spaced 5.875 inches center-to-center. Ford used this bracket spacing across multiple F-Series generations; if your crossmember measures something different, this bearing is not the correct application.

The center-of-bearing-to-base dimension is 1.950 inches -- this sets the driveshaft working height relative to the frame and affects the operating angles of both the front and rear driveshaft sections. When this dimension changes (because a different bearing or a worn rubber isolator changes the bearing position), the U-joint angles change with it, and vibration follows.
