10-4-12 -- 1000 Series PTO Yoke, 7/8" Square Bore
The 7/8" square bore on the 10-4-12 is common on older agricultural PTO equipment. Square-profile shafts were standard on many implements before hex profiles became prevalent. No key is used -- torque is transferred through the flat sides of the square bore.
