A CV flange yoke combines the mounting convenience of a bolt-on flange connection with the velocity-smoothing geometry of a constant velocity joint — making it the right choice for applications where the companion flange interface is fixed but the operating angles are too steep for a standard flange yoke to work without vibration. Front driveshafts, transfer case outputs, and independent suspension drivetrain layouts frequently fall into this category. The CV mechanism inside the yoke keeps output velocity constant through the full range of angular motion, protecting both the driveshaft and the components it connects from the cyclical loading that standard U-joints impose at high angles. These are specialized components that require precise dimensional matching — the right bolt circle, the right series, and the right CV geometry for your application.
