Full Description
SA68735 is the complete slip assembly (slip yoke set) for the 68735/2035 series commercial driveshaft. The slip assembly is the telescoping section of the driveshaft that allows the shaft to change length as the drivetrain articulates -- it consists of the splined stub shaft and matching slip yoke that slide together. This assembly is spec'd for the 42x119mm U-joint and fits 100mm x 3mm wall tube.

Slip assemblies must be kept properly lubricated with the correct grease type for the spline interface. Dry splines cause fretting corrosion and binding, which prevents smooth axial travel and eventually locks the assembly solid -- eliminating the driveshaft length adjustment the slip joint provides.
