The 2480-15 has a very low center-to-base height (0.250") -- nearly but not quite flush. This 0.250" offset is functionally meaningful: it positions the bearing centerline 0.250" above the bracket base, placing the propshaft at the correct centerline for this specific Lexus chassis. The 5.750" span matches the same narrow Lexus crossmember used by the 2480-40 (flush mount).
