The 2480-10 is the tallest unit in the Lexus 2480 center support bearing group at 2.125" center-to-base. This height positions the bearing well above the bracket base plate, found on Lexus platforms where the tunnel crossmember is mounted low but the propshaft runs at mid-tunnel height. With the 6.250" mount span shared with 2480-20 and 2480-30, the key differentiator is height: 2.125" (2480-10) vs. 1.875" (2480-20) vs. 0" flush (2480-30).

Tip: Lexus GS 350/430 and LS 460/600h AWD models have seen center support bearing failures accelerated by worn motor mounts. The powertrain rocking under load transmits shock loads to the driveshaft center section, fatiguing the isolator rubber prematurely.
