Full Description
A worn or damaged end yoke is one of the most common causes of driveline vibration and U-joint failure -- yet it's often overlooked during diagnosis. The 4804-301 from UDS provides a direct, properly dimensioned replacement for 1480 Series applications, specifically engineered for GM 10.5 & GM 11.5, restoring the tight tolerances that eliminate vibration at the source.
The Problem: Worn Yoke Geometry
When end yoke bores wear oval or the snap ring groove erodes, U-joint caps begin to rock in their seats. This produces a clicking or clunking noise at low speed, a vibration that tracks with vehicle speed, and -- in severe cases -- catastrophic U-joint ejection. The 4804-301 replaces the worn geometry with new machined surfaces: 1.590" spline bore, 2.370" hub diameter, bearing bores held to 1480 Series tolerances.
