The SA54-25-28 serves Mazda and Ford driveshaft applications with a 28mm inner bearing bore. Unlike the SA54-25-28B which sits 2.750" from bearing centerline to bracket base, this unit measures 2.565". The 0.185" difference positions the driveshaft centerline lower in the chassis, and this must match the OEM specification for your vehicle.
Both SA54-25-28 and SA54-25-28B share the same 7.000" center-to-center mounting hole spacing, so the footprint is identical and the bolts will line up regardless of which variant is installed. The practical consequence of choosing the wrong height is a driveshaft that sits above or below its design angle, causing harmonic vibration in the 45-75 mph range on most applications.
