GU7410 -- P287.00 Series, 26MM Cap x 70MM Width, OSR Sealed
The P287.00 series designation indicates a metric import U-joint with a 26MM (1.025") cap diameter and 70MM (2.748") trunnion span. This geometry is found on several Japanese and Korean vehicle driveshafts -- the GW cross-reference in the product notes points to a specific OEM application set. The 26MM cap is slightly larger than the 25MM Mitsubishi cap (GUM76, 5-1516X), so the two groups are not interchangeable despite similar dimensional appearance.
OSR (outside snap ring) installation allows the bearing caps to be removed and replaced without a hydraulic press in some yoke configurations -- a practical advantage for field repairs. The sealed (non-greaseable) design is factory-packed and not serviceable. In high-mileage or high-angle applications where joint life is a concern, measure the cap bore on the original joint and search for a greaseable equivalent with matching dimensions before specifying a sealed replacement.
