Full Description
DLW-4 is a 10.0 gram (0.35 oz) steel round balance weight with center hole, boxed 150 per box. It occupies the small-to-mid range in the steel balance weight series and is used when moderate correction mass is required on a single angular position. When combined with DLW-1 (4g) or DLW-2 (5g), an exact 14g or 15g correction target can be achieved without overshooting.

Driveshaft balancing requires adding correction weight at the specific angular position of the residual imbalance -- not just at any location. The balance machine outputs an angle (degrees from a reference mark) and a required correction mass. The tech attaches the appropriate total gram value at that angle, using one or more weights as needed.
