CB60SCNA Heavy-Duty Center Support Bearing -- Scania Application
Scania driveshafts run at relatively high RPM for a heavy truck -- the long wheelbase of many Scania configurations requires a two-piece driveshaft with a center support bearing that can handle both radial load and the higher rotational speeds of the front shaft section. The CB60SCNA is engineered specifically for Scania driveline dimensions and rubber isolator specifications.
The rubber isolator compound in Scania-specification bearings is formulated for the specific natural frequency of Scania driveline configurations. Using a generic replacement isolator from a different bearing family can shift the isolation frequency and allow harmonic vibration to transmit to the cab.
