BW4 Steel Balance Weight -- 10.0 Gram (0.35 oz)
Ten grams sits in an interesting zone for driveshaft balancing -- heavy enough to make a meaningful correction but light enough that placement precision becomes critical. A 10-gram weight at the wrong angular position on a 3.5-inch tube can actually worsen the imbalance if placed more than 90 degrees off the correction vector.
The BW4 uses a round profile with flat mating surface for consistent weld prep. Steel construction means it can be welded with standard MIG wire without special gas blends. Common applications include finishing corrections on rebuilt driveshafts after tube straightening, or compensating for asymmetric weld buildup at yoke joints.
