Full Description
The 9980-45 serves Subaru driveshaft applications requiring a 0.985" inner bore center bearing with an offset bracket arrangement. Subaru AWD and RWD platforms frequently use offset-mount center bearings where chassis geometry places the mounting surface at an angle relative to the driveshaft centerline.
On this unit, one bracket sits 0.75" below the bearing centerline while the opposite side mounts flush (0.00" offset). This 0.75" differential tilts the bearing slightly to align with an angled tunnel or crossmember. Rubber grommets are included in the assembly to provide vibration isolation between the steel bracket and the chassis mounting points.
