9012-SF -- 1350 Series Short Couple Driveshaft, 9.500" F-to-F, 6.380" CL-to-CL

At 9.500 inches flange-to-flange, you can choose from short couple assemblies in 1350, 1410, 1480, or 1550 series. The 9012-SF is the 1350 series option, and its 6.380-inch CL-to-CL is the widest of all series at this overall length -- wider even than the 1410 (6.120") or 1480/1550 (5.500") options. The 1350 series yoke geometry (1.188-inch cap, 3.625-inch width -- narrower U-joint than 1410 or higher) concentrates the yoke ears differently than the wider-width series, resulting in a larger portion of the overall length being used as working CL-to-CL span.

If your companion flanges are 1350 series, this is the correct 9.500" short couple. The 1350 yoke ear bores will not accept 1410 or 1480 series U-joints.
