This height difference is not an upgrade or variation; it reflects a different Dodge chassis tunnel geometry where the driveshaft runs at a higher elevation relative to the frame mounting surface. Fitting the 4180-16 in place of the 4180-10 (or vice versa) changes the driveshaft angle at the midshaft and will cause vibration from the first mile after installation.

To identify whether the 4180-16 or 4180-10 is correct for your application: measure the distance from the center of your installed bearing housing to the bracket mounting surface with the vehicle at ride height and the suspension loaded. Do this before disassembly. Once the bearing is removed and the driveshaft sags, that reference dimension is gone and you're guessing.
