- 3.300" center-to-base -- one of the tallest GM 30 mm bore assemblies; verify against the removed bearing before ordering
- Used on GM body-on-frame applications where the crossmember drops significantly below the frame before reaching the driveshaft axis
- Tall bracket arm: tighten fasteners to the factory torque spec and retorque after first 100 miles due to bracket settling
- GM OEM cross-references in the 22800834 and 88951975 series; confirm via VIN and GMPD catalog
Warning: after installing a 3.300" tall center bearing, verify the driveshaft-to-bracket clearance at full suspension droop with the vehicle on a lift and suspension hanging freely. The long bracket arm can contact the exhaust or floor pan at full droop if the driveshaft operating angle is increased by a suspension lift or modification.
