3-2-1159A -- 8-Bolt Circular Flange Pattern, 1310 Series
Eight-bolt circular pattern provides more clamping area than standard 4-bolt square yokes -- common on commercial and fleet applications.
The 8-hole circular pattern on the 3-2-1159A distributes clamping load more evenly than a 4-bolt square pattern, reducing the risk of bolt loosening under high-torque cyclic loading. This pattern is found on commercial vehicles, heavy vans, and fleet trucks where driveshaft service intervals are extended.
This flange yoke accepts 1310 series U-joints (1.062" cap diameter). The 3.996-inch bolt circle and 2.954-inch female pilot must match the companion flange. Measure the companion flange before ordering -- the circular pattern is application-specific and does not interchange with square or rectangular patterns.
