Mercedes-Benz application center support bearing with 1.181″ bore and 0.40″ center-to-base height; ultra-low rubber-isolated assembly for minimal-drop Mercedes propshaft hanger brackets.

- 0.40" center-to-base height -- exceptionally compact; the bracket base and bearing centerline are nearly coincident
- Used on Mercedes passenger car platforms where the propshaft tunnel is tightly packaged against the floor crossmember
- 30 mm bore: verify the stub shaft OD is within Mercedes specification before pressing
- Use a low-profile torque wrench or crowfoot fitting to access the bracket fasteners at this minimal height
Warning: at 0.40" height, any dirt or debris on the crossmember mounting surface will tilt the bracket, changing the bearing centerline position relative to the propshaft axis. Clean the mounting surface with a wire brush and solvent before installing the 2880-60, and confirm the bracket seats flush on the crossmember face without rocking before final torquing.
