- Identify by the Mercedes OEM part number stamped on the removed bracket casting
- Rubber isolator: Mercedes-application compound tuned for the specific model's propshaft resonance
- Confirm Mercedes OEM numbers via STAR catalog or ETK parts portal using VIN
Tip: after installation, start the engine and let it idle for 2 minutes before driving. On Mercedes propshaft applications, idle-speed propshaft rotation allows the rubber isolator to seat into its working position under minimal load before full-speed vibration forces are applied. This reduces the risk of isolator bond stress during the first drive cycle.
