- 35×55×13 mm is a metric standard dimension -- FAG 6007-2RS, SKF 6007-2RS, and NSK 6007DDU are equivalent inner bearings
- Supplied without housing or rubber isolator -- the existing housing must be serviceable before installing this insert
- Verify housing bore measures 55.000--55.010 mm for correct outer race retention
- Do not press against the outer race seal lip; use a proper bearing driver sized to the 55 mm OD
Tip: when sourcing the 2780-99 as a bearing-only replacement, compare the removed bearing width carefully. Some BMW and European propshaft housings use a 16 mm wide bearing rather than 13 mm -- an error of 3 mm in width will not be retained by the snap ring or retaining features in the housing.
