2780-57 Center Support Bearing -- BMW Driveshaft Application
A common mistake when replacing BMW center support bearings is reusing the original rubber isolator cup from a worn unit. The isolator hardens and cracks with age; installing a new bearing into a fatigued cup masks vibration briefly before the rubber tears through entirely. The 2780-57 ships with its isolator assembled -- do not press the bearing out of the housing.
Bore: 1.181". Center bearing to base height: 0.600". Mount hole spacing (center-to-center): 6.300". These three dimensions must match your application exactly. BMW used several center bearing heights across model years on the same platform, so cross-check against the original part tag or measure the removed unit.
