2680-25 -- Dodge and Chrysler Driveshaft Center Support Bearing
Chrysler RWD and AWD platforms from the 1990s through mid-2000s used a two-piece driveshaft design with a floor-mounted carrier bearing. The 2680-25 is a direct-fit replacement: bore 1.181", center-to-base 2.375", mount hole span 6.625" center-to-center. These Chrysler platforms are known for isolator rubber that cracks at the bond line after 80,000-100,000 miles, particularly in climates with wide temperature swings.
If the original unit shows lateral movement of the stub shaft inside the bearing (i.e., you can wiggle the center of the propshaft side-to-side), the inner race has failed and the shaft is running on the cage. At that stage, vibration has already allowed the front and rear shaft sections to move out of their factory phase relationship -- check the factory paint stripe alignment marks on reassembly.
