Full Description
The 2680-12 is one of the flatter Mazda center support bearings in the catalog, with just 0.750" from the base pad to bearing centerline. This low-profile design is found on Mazda AWD platforms where the propshaft runs very close to the tunnel floor. The wide 8.625" mount span anchors the carrier to a broad crossmember for improved lateral stiffness.

Tip: On low-profile carriers, the rubber isolator has less material between the bearing bore and the base pad. This makes it more sensitive to overtorquing the mount bolts -- which compresses the rubber and changes the bearing's natural frequency. Torque to spec, not to "snug."
