The 2580-75 has the longest mount hole span in the Audi 2580 center support bearing group at 9.375" center-to-center. This span matches a specific Audi longitudinal AWD crossmember, and no other unit in the 2580 series can substitute without redrilling the bracket.

Installation tip: Audi specifies that the carrier bracket bolts be tightened with the propshaft under its own weight (vehicle on a hoist, shaft hanging free) rather than with the shaft propped up. Installing under tension pre-loads the rubber isolator in a direction it was not designed for, and the isolator will crack at the bond line within 30,000 miles.
