1480-70 center support bearing for Volvo XC70 (04-07)/XC90 (03-05) — 1.181" ID, 2.125" base, 3.675" spread. New shafts only.
Full Description
Critical note: 1480-70 cannot be used on the original equipment Volvo shaft. It is designed for new shaft assemblies only. Using it on an OE shaft results in a dimension mismatch that cannot be corrected by shimming.
The 1480-70 fits the Volvo XC70 (2004-2007) and XC90 (2003-2005) center carrier position in new driveshaft assemblies. The 2.125" center-to-base and 3.675" mount spread are specific to replacement shaft geometry that differs from the factory layout. This center support bearing should only be ordered when building a new shaft -- for OE shaft service, the applicable Volvo carrier from the 1480-xx family with OE-compatible geometry is required. Bore ID: 1.181".
