The 2280-50 covers the Acura MDX and Honda Pilot AWD variants. Both share a Honda-designed all-wheel-drive system using a longitudinal driveshaft arrangement. The center bearing at 0.347" center-to-base is notably low-profile, placing the bearing centerline just 0.347" above the bracket mounting face.
This low profile is specific to the MDX/Pilot chassis where the tunnel clearance is limited and the driveshaft runs very close to the bracket surface. The 6.693" mount spacing is also specific to this application and distinguishes it from other 2280-series bearings that run 6.625" or 6.875".
