1480-15 center support bearing for Land Rover Freelander 1996-2006 — 1.181" ID, 3.500" base, 5.500" spread. Note: 02-05 needs 1.125" spacers.
Full Description
Installing the 1480-15 on a 2002-2005 Freelander without the 1.125" spacers is the single most common fitment error on this application. The spacers raise the bracket to match the changed crossmember height used from 2002 onward. Without them the bracket sits too low, straining the rubber isolator in bending from day one.
- Bearing ID: 1.181"
- Center-to-base: 3.500"
- Mount hole spacing: 5.500"
- 2002-2005 Freelander requires 1.125" spacers (not included -- source separately)
- 1996-2001 applications install direct without spacers
Note: The Freelander was sold with both Rover and Freelander badge in different markets. The same center support bearing applies regardless of market badge -- verify by crossmember hole pattern and center-to-base measurement.
