Series 1480 is a heavy performance and light commercial size above 1410. A slip yoke lets the driveshaft change length as the suspension cycles, sliding on a splined shaft while transmitting torque.

Beyond series and spline data, check the seal surface diameter and the overall length. A slip yoke that fits the splines but is the wrong length will bottom out or pull out.
Every driveshaft needs somewhere to absorb length change, and on most light vehicles that is the slip yoke. It rides on a splined shaft, held by a seal and often a dust boot, and has to slide freely under full torque without binding.
Ordering one takes more than the series. The spline count and diameter set the shaft engagement, the seal diameter sets what the housing will seal against, and the overall length sets how much travel you have. Send us the measurements if you are working from a shaft already on the bench.
