The uj65190s is a P600 series outside snap ring retention universal joint measuring 2.559" cap dia | 7.480" width. The uj65190s is greaseable with zerk fitting. Every uj65190s is verified for cap diameter, bearing width, and snap ring groove dimensions before it ships from Universal Driveshafts.
UJ65190S -- P600 Series Cap & Width Specifications
The uj65190s specs: 2.559" cap dia | 7.480" width. Cap diameter determines which yoke bore it fits -- the cap must seat fully into the yoke without play. Bearing width (7.480" across the body) controls the span between yoke ears. A cross that is too wide won't fit; too narrow and the snap rings don't seat in the groove. Scania 65x190.
Verify the yoke bore diameter against the uj65190s cap size before installing. The snap ring style (outside snap ring retention) must match the yoke groove pattern -- OSR yokes have an external groove; ISR yokes have an internal groove. The uj65190s requires a grease gun at installation and at regular service intervals. Use a proper cross-and-bearing installation tool or a press. Driving a cup in at an angle cocks the needle bearings and destroys the uj65190s before it ever sees load.
After installation, verify full rotation without binding. A binding cross indicates a cup is cocked or seated too deep. The uj65190s should articulate freely through the full operating angle of your driveshaft before the vehicle is lowered off the lift.
