TU3565 — 3.500″ OD x 0.065″ wall DOM steel tube. Thinnest standard wall in the 3.500″ range; minimizes rotating mass at the cost of reduced torque capacity.
Full Description
TU3565 carries the thinnest wall available in the 3.500" OD DOM tube lineup: 0.065". This is a specialized selection for applications where rotating mass reduction takes priority over torsional strength -- such as lightweight road racing vehicles or single-purpose drag cars with controlled, predictable torque curves.
At 0.065" wall, a 3.500" tube has substantially lower torsional yield strength compared to the 0.095" or 0.134" alternatives. This is not a general-purpose selection for street or work trucks. Use it only when torque loading has been validated against the tube's capacity and vibration behavior at the intended RPM range has been confirmed.
