The 9980-54 center support bearing specs: 1.181" inner dia | 2.125" center-to-base | 6.625" mount spacing. Cannot be used on OE shaft. Has tab welded to passenger side of bracket . Same as 9980-52 but with the 6.625" bolt to bolt spacing.. Application: Subaru series. Inner diameter must match the midshaft stub OD exactly — a loose fit allows the bearing to walk on the shaft, which causes vibration and accelerates wear on both the bearing race and the shaft surface. Mount hole center-to-center spacing must match your crossmember bracket.
