The 904657-4 is a 1710 series short couple driveshaft measuring 11.380" flange-to-flange and 7.380" centerline-to-centerline. The 1710 series uses 1.938" diameter trunnion caps on a 6.094" span — the highest torque capacity in the standard SAE U-joint series hierarchy.

When fitting the 904657-4, confirm the installed flange-to-flange gap measures 11.380" with both flanges fully seated against the companion flanges. The 4.000" difference between F-to-F and CL-to-CL reflects the flange yoke CJ-to-flat geometry. Both end flanges must be bored for 1710 series U-joint caps.
