4-2-679 -- 1550 Series Flange Yoke, 4-Bolt 4.750" BC, 3.750" Pilot

The 4-2-679 shares its bolt pattern with the 1410 series 3-2-559 -- both have four 0.500-inch holes on a 4.750-inch bolt circle with a 3.750-inch pilot -- but the series are different. The 4-2-679 runs 1550 series U-joints (1.375-inch cap, 4.964-inch width); the 3-2-559 runs 1410 (1.188-inch cap, 4.188-inch width). The companion flanges on the shaft are machined to a specific series; bolting a 1550 yoke onto a 1410-series companion flange introduces the correct bolt pattern but the wrong U-joint geometry at the ears, which will not mate correctly with the driveshaft U-joints.

CJ-to-flat: 1.500 inches. Pilot diameter: 3.750 inches (verify male or female against your companion flange -- pilot style not listed in the data sheet). Use with a 1550 series U-joint exclusively.
