Jaguar rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive platforms use two-piece propshafts with center bearing designs engineered to the brand's NVH standards. The 3080-40 fits Jaguar applications with a 30 mm stub shaft bore at the 2.250" center-to-base height.
Jaguar-specific installation note: the propshaft is phased at the factory with alignment marks on both sections. When the center bearing is pressed off the stub shaft and reinstalled, the propshaft sections must be re-aligned to the factory phase marks. Jaguar uses white paint alignment marks on the tube and stub shaft; if these have been ground off during previous repairs, the propshaft must be re-balanced as a complete unit before return to service.
