3080-25 -- Jaguar Center Support Bearing, 30 mm Bore, 2.565"
The 3080-25 uses a 2.565" center-to-base height -- a Jaguar-specific dimension that is 0.065" taller than the 2.500" 3080-35. This subtle difference matters: the 3080-25 is designed for a Jaguar model or year variant where the crossmember bracket geometry requires the additional height to align the bearing centerline correctly with the propshaft axis.
Substituting the 3080-35 (2.500") for the 3080-25 (2.565") introduces a 1.65 mm height discrepancy -- approximately equivalent to a 0.09-degree propshaft angle error at the center joint. While this sounds small, at 70 mph this angle generates a second-order vibration that appears as a 93 Hz drone in the cabin at highway speed. Jaguar's NVH standards are strict; verify the exact center-to-base dimension with a caliper. Jaguar OEM references in the JLM and C2P series depending on model and production date; confirm via Jaguar TOPIX by VIN for the correct center support bearing.
