Full Description
The Chrysler Pacifica used an AWD drivetrain from 2003 to 2008, with a two-piece rear driveshaft that requires periodic center support bearing replacement. The 2880-63 addresses the full 2003--2008 model range with the 30 mm (1.181") bore specific to the Pacifica propshaft configuration.
- Bore ID: 1.181" (30 mm) -- verify the stub shaft OD before pressing; Pacifica stub shafts from early 2000s production are susceptible to journal corrosion in northern climates
- AWD application only -- the 2WD Pacifica did not use a two-piece driveshaft and does not require this bearing
- Chrysler OEM reference: 52105945AA and related Mopar numbers may apply; confirm via VIN for exact production year
- Rubber isolator: review for heat damage if the vehicle has had exhaust system proximity issues
Tip: Chrysler Pacifica AWD center bearings from 2003--2005 may use a slightly different bracket geometry from 2006--2008 production. Note the model year before installation and confirm the bracket profile matches the crossmember mounting configuration.
