2880-10 -- Mercedes-Benz Center Support Bearing, 30 mm Bore, 0.800"
The 2880-10 uses a 0.800" center-to-base height -- between the 0.750" and 0.965" variants in the Mercedes compact bracket range. This application-specific dimension appears on Mercedes models where the crossmember geometry places the bearing seat at exactly 0.800" below the mounting face.
A verification warning for this unit: the 0.800" dimension is close to both 0.750" and 0.965" adjacent SKUs. A technician measuring the removed bearing with a standard rule (not digital calipers) will likely read all three as "about 3/4 to 1 inch" without distinguishing between them. Digital calipers set to 0.001" resolution are required to correctly identify this unit.
