2680-30 -- Mazda Center Support Bearing (0.985" ID)
The 2680-30 uses a 0.985" bore -- noticeably smaller than the 1.181" bore common across most other applications in this catalog. Mazda designed several rear-drive and AWD platforms with a smaller stub shaft OD than comparable Mitsubishi and Korean applications. Installing a 1.181" bore carrier on a 0.985" stub shaft results in a sloppy fit that generates rapid fretting wear.
Mount hole spacing is 6.625", placing this unit in the same range as several Kia and Hyundai carriers but at a different bore. Verify bore ID first on any Mazda center support bearing replacement -- bore diameter is the first fitment check, not the vehicle name. The 0.985" ID is the definitive identifier for this application. No center-to-base offset is listed -- flush mount geometry.
