Full Description
The 2580-50 is one of the lower-profile Audi 2580 center support bearings at 1.500" center-to-base. Lower-profile carriers are found on Audi platforms where the propshaft runs close to the tunnel floor -- the low carrier height keeps the rear shaft section from running at a steep upward angle toward the rear differential.

- Sealed bearing with bonded rubber isolator, no repack interval
Tip: When reinstalling, tighten bracket fasteners to Audi-specified torque. Under-torquing allows the carrier to vibrate against the crossmember, eroding the mounting holes and eventually causing the bracket to crack at the weld point -- a failure that damages the driveshaft, not just the carrier.
