Full Description
The 2280-30 is the center support bearing for the Honda CR-V AWD, model years 2007 through 2011 (third generation). Honda's real-time AWD system on the CR-V uses a propeller shaft from the front differential to the rear axle, supported at its midpoint by this center bearing.
At 1.500" center-to-base, this is the tallest bearing in the Honda/Acura 2280-series, placing the shaft centerline higher above the bracket surface than 2280-40 (0.750") or 2280-50 (0.347"). This reflects the CR-V's tunnel geometry where the driveshaft must clear other underbody components at the bearing location.
