2-82-10210 -- 1300 Series Yoke Shaft

The 1300 series is a light-duty automotive shaft series with a 1.062" bearing cap diameter -- below 1310 spec. Before ordering a 1300-series yoke shaft as a service replacement, verify that your original shaft is genuinely 1300 series and not a 1310 (same cap diameter, wider trunnion). The spline profile on the 2-82-10210 -- 1.375" diameter, 16 splines, 2.000" engagement -- must match the mating sleeve exactly. Using a 1310-series sleeve with a 1300-series shaft produces a loose fit and rapid spline wear.

CL-to-end: 7.500". This is relatively long for a 1300-series stub shaft -- appropriate for longer two-piece shaft front sections in compact car applications. If your application is a compact import with a 2-piece driveshaft, verify the U-joint series first to distinguish 1300 from 1310 or foreign-series joints.
