Full Description
The 1210 series is the smallest capacity U-joint family in common automotive use, with a cap diameter of approximately 0.861" (21.8mm). It is found on compact and subcompact RWD vehicles, particularly Japanese imports of the 1970s through 1990s. The 2-2-899 is the flange yoke for this series, designed primarily for Nissan rear axle applications but also used on some Subaru configurations.
The 2.250" male pilot (M suffix in the part spec) protrudes into a mating female pilot bore in the differential flange. This register provides concentricity. The bolt circle of 2.750" is quite small, consistent with the compact size of 1210 applications.

The 1210 series yoke is dimensionally compact. If your Nissan application has upgraded to a larger U-joint series (some performance builds swap to 1310 adapters), this yoke is not compatible. Confirm the U-joint series on your driveshaft ends. Cross-reference: Spicer 2-2-899. Also used on Nissan trucks and some early RWD Datsun models.
