1680-35 center support bearing for Dodge/Jeep — 1.181" ID, 7.500" spread, asymmetric mounts at 1.00" and 4.00" from shaft CL. Grommets included.
Full Description
The 1680-35 has an asymmetric mount layout: the two bolt holes sit at 1.00" and 4.00" offsets from the bearing CL -- not equidistant. This is the specification for Dodge and Jeep applications using a non-centered crossmember bracket. Swapping to a symmetric carrier here requires crossmember modification because the hole pattern will not align.
- Bearing ID: 1.181"
- Ctr-to-ctr mount holes: 7.500"
- Mount offsets: 1.00" and 4.00" from bearing CL (asymmetric layout)
- Center-to-base: 0 (flush)
- Grommets included -- replace them; hardened OEM grommets eliminate isolation benefit
Tip: When grommets are included in a center support bearing kit, always install the new grommets. Hardened originals no longer isolate vibration regardless of how new the bearing is.
