Rubber Flex Disc

The rubber flex disc — sometimes called a giubo — is one of the most underappreciated components in a driveshaft assembly. It absorbs the torsional shock between the transmission output and the driveshaft, dampens vibration before it reaches the cabin, and accommodates minor angular misalignment that would otherwise stress the entire drivetrain.
